As a full-time supervisor, part-time graduate student, and fitness enthusiast, it’s hard to find time to workout. I am sure many of you guys can relate!
So when I heard about a workout that blasts calories, torches fat, and lasts only about 20-30 minutes, I knew I had to try it out.
As promised last week when I shared my fave fitness workout apps, I am talking all about HIIT. It is all over fitness magazines, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, you name it. However, it was harder to find a routine I liked than I thought!
After hours of Googling, I found probably the best site with easy to follow routines. Darebee, a fitness resource and community, provides an awesome 30 day HIIT routine.
I have been on day one for about two weeks and still end my workout drenched. There are rounds of either 5, 10, or 15. Let me tell you, 10 rounds are no joke. I am working toward 15 rounds now.
That being said, I will also say this: there is no better workout than HIIT (that I know of) that can blast calories and build up strength. My endurance has gone up and I can complete more rounds of burpees without hyperventilating (yes!!).
